After a residency of a week in Cortina, the result is an installation of frames of various sizes where I stitched plants, butterflies, animals that I found preserved in the Palaeontology Museum.
They are simple illustrations, a reappropriation of different finds. They stop being physical data stored in a glass case and enter into a relationship: with the old women of Cortina who taught me to sew, with visitors of the museum which will interact with it, with the children of the workshops experiencing a new way of relation with art, a tactile look.

The title “Linneo” refers both to the inventor of binomial nomenclature (used to classify plants and animals according to genus and species) and to the Latin verb “lineo” which means to draw.
